Episode 38 is Live!

CIMG3203

Many apologies for the long wait--I am low on space on Libsyn. But I used my time constructively, hosting a party with members of several species as guests...

What's On My Hook/Needles: New podcast alert!
Gives Good Knit. Tikabelle is reviewing great lit and great knit!

And some old favorites that always rock:
Knitmore Girls
Socks in the City by Dharmafey

I'm still working on the ripple afghan, the cowl is back in production, the sock is sooo close to completion, and the baby blanket squares grind onward. I'm spinning Lisa Souza fiber and fiber from Dyeing for Colour. My spndles are from Ghostworks on Etsy and a Schacht from Urban Fauna Studios. I am awaiting a lazy kate for drop spindlers from Spinsanity.

Here is the finale of the Stitches adventure--some narrative, a recording of how I met SonomaKnits and her pals, and then a recording of me and some Fiber Collective ladies in Stashymama's van, roaming the streets of Santa Clara in search of food and reviewing yarny things.

Itunes--how to subscribe to the podcast from libsyn

Thanks to texaspurlgurl for this wisdom. I tried it and it works:

Open your iTunes. On the top of the page click Advanced and then choose "Subscribe to podcast. A box will come up asking you to put a URL in the box to subscribe to a podcast. Put this URL in the box: http://drgemma.libsyn.com/rss and click OK and it should download instantly.

And it did! It was even titled "Cogknitive podcast"!

Thanks, Dawn!!
Meanwhile, I have submitted the podcast to Itunes with its new feed under the title "CogKNITive Podcast". It should be listed there, under the new title with its own page and everything, in a few days.

Now everyone go over there and gimmee some good reviews. Pretty please?? As soon as the new page, called "CogKNITive Podcast, is up...

This episode is available now through libsyn.

The title says it all. Here are my exploits at Stitches West for the early part of the day, including my meeting with Jasmine and Gigi, alias the Knitmore Girls, and a little of my wanderings about the Market floor.

New Podcast Service Provider--PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Okay, I am done with Mypodcast.com. 3 days of no response to a serious problem, and then an email to a podcaster saying "we don't answer emails about problems because our service is free."

So we are shifting, as of RIGHT NOW, to libsyn.com. I am uploading Epsiode 35 as I type this.

The blog will remain at its current home at http://cogknitivepodcast.blogspot.com/

but the direct downloads will now be at:
http://drgemma.libsyn.com/

Episode 35 and all subsequent episodes will be appearing on Libsyn. I will need to change the Itunes title to:
CogKNITive Podcast

So if you are an Itunes user, go to the new page and subscribe to download the episodes starting with 35 and concerning Stitches West '09 (except for the one about driving up there).
