I have a YouTube channel "Doctor Gemma". Flash tips (1 minute or less) around surviving the pandemic and longer strategy discussions.

Buy Dr Gemma a Ko-Fi, if you're enjoying the podcast and feeling up to it. Remember that I am still working, though, so feel free to give the money to a charity instead.

I will NOT add you to any of my follower groups currently, due to robo-accounts. Please follow me here. You can contact me through our group on Ravelry or on this blog.

Still working on more merino from morrobayfleeceworks.com
3rd bobbin (sigh), but no progress
A fuzz ball of Minerva daily continues: 1 per day
Now working on gorgeous alpaca mix fluff from Dani!

Strategy: Declaring Rest

Fluffy Books: Nope. But Upstart Crow on Britbox

Something I Really Like:
Anker Power Bank for i-Phone --no cable, directly attaches to iPhone. There seem to be versions for other phones as well.

Put a Lid on It:
Tea tastings: Peaches 'N' Cream Oolong--YESYESYES!

Salmon Mousse-- my way:

About a pound of fresh salmon
8 ounces (a standard brick if you're in the US) cream cheese, softened
generous Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
tsp juice from bottled capers
tsp capers
2 sticks butter

1. Saute both sides of salmon in Instant Pot on High, 3 minutes per side. Use 1 stick butter (1/2 cup) to saute. Peel off any skin after cooking. Your dogs will appreciate it.
2. Place salmon in juices in IP on MANUAL, HIGH and cook 5 mins. Natural release.
3. Put salmon, remaining stick butter, any pot juices (without skin), and all other ingredients into a strong blender. I used a Vitamix--no regrets there! Blend into mousse.

Goes on crisps, breadsticks, fresh veggie sticks, cucumber slices, or just a spoon. A day later, it's a terrific spread on a toasted bagel.

Blather:

Thanksgiving! Soon. Bread and spice cake so far...

Pupdate--  Captain and Queenie--house practice
