Crochet block experiments:

Sewed (by machine) the liner from a fat quarter!

Lakeside cardigan : sewed together two of the two long strips for the top of the back and down the arms. Pinned the 2 long strips, checked fit. Now the long seam needs sewing.

Lydia’s pinks socks:  on second sock.

Dizzy Blondes:

Still working on more merino from morrobayfleeceworks.com
3rd bobbin (sigh), but no progress
A fuzz ball of Minerva daily continues: 1 per day

Strategy: keep a record

Something I Really Like:
It’s actually galvanized steel cable. Bring wire cutters. The next project using this is here..

Put a Lid on It:
I’m finally going to stop tossing plastic into landfills.

Crack chicken
8 oz cream cheese
1 standard jar of good, organic marinara sauce (we like Newman’s Own)
Chicken pieces
Put everything into a crockpot or slow cooker on high.
Leave on high for at least one hour.
Set to low for several hours.
Enjoy! Goes well on top of any type of rice, green, noodle, or riced cauliflower.

Blather:

The stash toss: using old yarns for a crocheted sweater, yarns for mending, Mother Bear once more, and a TON of sewn mending projects to wear what I love.

Weight loss and fasting: Down  17 pounds in 7 weeks. Off the plateau! Testing glucose and ketosis—REALLY good!

Project G: back on the rails again. But close to finished.
Project Cookbook: internet keto recipes

StephieJo: “Afterthought Everything” class. Jasmin, Emily…we has classez!...
...and AGAIN to StephieJo for a lovely, generous mug of Ko-Fi!
Chrisaaah—soda stream…?
Krickett: "I’m in Australia, where fresh pumpkin is available all year round, so I’m wondering why all American recipes seem to specify canned pumpkin? Making your own purée of pumpkin is really easy - cut and peel, cook until soft, and mash. If it’s more than you need, it could be frozen , but it’s also easy to judge how much you need as you prep. I generally put it in a bit of water and simmer around 15 minutes ( give it a poke, you’ll know when it’s soft) . It’s also great just cut , drizzled with olive oil and baked/roasted, and could also be microwaved"
