Dizzy Blondes:

No spinning, due to sinus issues.

Mother Nature is a b*tch--as in, she does not care about your reasons; she will stillhold your body accountable for your behaviors--in exercise, relationships, career, and in all sorts of other ways. You really must take care of your life and your health.

Put a Lid On It:
I have been making freezer jam! Make sure to get INSTANT PECTIN for this--no other type will work. 4 cups crushed fruit, 1.5 cups sugar or Splenda, 1 packet pectin. For peaches and nectarines, you need 3 tablespoons lemon juice too.

This is SO easy that you really should give it a try. Use spare Tupperware and plastic containers from butter or yogurt.

Aw Shoot!

I am getting past Achilles tendonitis, using the elliptical for 65 minutes at a time, and brushing my pony every morning.

The Runners Stick--to massage deep muscles yourself.

Summer Running Essentials:
Please remember to hydrate you and any running pals.
Important facts:
one gallon of water weighs 8.3 pounds
Any mammal can carry only up to one quarter of its weight.

Ruffwear backpacks for dogs.

Something I Really Like:

The Lost Geek Podcast

Zombies, Run works on the elliptical, as long as you don't try to use the app to tell you your distance.

Roxy, a.k.a. Tirion Du, has joined the family at Quail Dance Ranch.

Eleanor is taking basic obedience class and doing VERY well. My schedule is now, officially, insane.

I survived a deposition! I told the truth and found I could enjoy lambasting a lawyer.

I will be at the Retzlaff Spinning gathering on June 7th.
Camp CogKnitive is coming (see above). July 25th!
CFR6 is on Oct. 11, 2014.
Meditation camps in planning/possible: Philly, DFW in TX, North Carolina. Let me hear what you think!
