Here's my son, ready to take his new scarf to Minnesota...

Because here is what it has been doing here:

Celebrating our listeners who have joined the CogKnitive 25 – , 50 –, and 75 – Bear Clubs for MBP. You can see who they all are right here. Great work!

Have YOU completed 25, 50, or 75 bears for Mother Bear Project? Send me your snail and a link to your Ravelry projects page, and CogKnitive will send you a special wristband to celebrate with you.

Add yourself to our CogKNITive Listeners Map.

We have a website at http://www.cogknitive.com/. You can find older episodes there.

You can now subscribe to the BLOG on your Kindle or Kindle app.

I am gemmadw on  Twitter and Pinterest, and DrGemma on Plurk.

The Annual CogKnitive Mother Bear project CAL/KAL is in progress until MARCH 1ST. You can enter ANY bear that you have made since MARCH 2, 2012, BUT you MUST post it to the group NOW, even if you've already posted it. That way, I can easily find who wants to be entered for our prizes.

What's On My Hooks, Needles, and Spindles:

Still in Progress:

Gossamer Infinity Cowl/Scarf....It's done and works quite well...And it has changed me to a person who throws her yarn properly and avoids twisted stitches.

The Tehachapi Project Shawl. One repeat of the final chart done, and moving right along happily.

Gareth's One Row Scarf...Quick and fun!

Dizzy Blondes:
Not really plying the 50/50 merino/silk, the llama and the alpaca. A lovely DK or sport...268 yards so far, but really no time to sit down at the wheel right now...

Strategy:
Manage your thoughts. Don't let your thoughts manage you.

Put A  Lid On It:
Kitchen is quiet...Using your empty, clean jars to make salads in advance! Quart jars: on bottom: favorite salad dressing, then layers of salad ingredients, top layer is ALWAYS lettuce. Put lid on this (canning ring and disk or normal screw-on lid that fits your jar.

Something I Really Like:
The 1-3 Challenge on our Ravelry group, and this general idea of stash reduction,

Blather:

I review On Holiday, a fantastic new ebook edited by our own FickleKnitter, including more of her shawls. And go check the archive at www.fickleknitter.com. The absolute cure for migraines.

Update on the dog pack.

Here I am hamming with The Yarniacs (Gail and Shar), The 2 Knit Lit Chicks (right edge--Barb and Traci), and half of the DoubleKnits Team (Erin--middle of group)...and Allison1031 of the Hollywood Knitter Podcast (next to Barb). Sorry, Allison; after all the times we've met, I can't imagine where my brain went when I looked at this picture.
 and forgot your name...

OK, I am a few weeks late on listening to podcasts. You mentioned that you have only been able to find the wide mouth version of the Ball plastic storage caps for canning jars. My local Wally Mart usually stocks BOTH sizes during canning season. If you want some let me know and I will grab you a box or two. I grab them myself when they become available as I use them a lot!
