DrewKaitlin  is offering an embroidery/blackwork class and LeftyRebelKnitter is offering an class on Russian Graft (not to be confused with Russian join) "I use it on baby booties and blankets and I think it’s way better than Kitchener for sock toes. There would be a tiny bit of homework.” Gemma plans to teach self-hypnosis btw.

What's On My Hooks and Needles:

 Stash toss 2025 (65 in, 40 out)
Virgo sweater: onto the sleeves!

Doing the sides, all the blocks are joined. Done up the side panels. Thinking of the liner, digging out an old flannel sheet.

Lakeside cardigan : Remaining: 1 set of front on panels, each is 2x2, weaving those ends, attaching, then major remaining seams.

September Sweater: It's crocheted and has been on my Rav projects page for months. 225 to 150 chain. I’m done the second torso piece. Train progress!


Alfresco 2nd rectangle finished, shoulder seams sewn. Side seams sewn and adding to lower edge.


Rag Doll revitalization:


Quilt squares and organizing—none this week—we are at 69 finished so far. 10 more in the early stages. BUT I finished ironing all the quilting fabrics that I bought before Joann’s closed. Fusible interfacing pre-cut rectangles for t-shirt quilts

Dizzy Blondes: still spinning the LS BFL Giverny. 

Using the electric eel 6.1.

Strategy: weight loss time! Food tracking, exercise, weighing in and measuring: BMI v waistline

Today’s version:
1 lb salmon fillets wild-caught
1/2 lb butter, salted
8 oz  cream Cheese
2 cups water
6 mins sautéed, 7 mins IP, natural release, add sour cream, immersion blender
Then…
Remainder in saucepan (about 2 cups), 8 oz cream cheese, 2 cups water, heated and then used immersion blender

In a pint jar:

Juice of half a lemon
2 TBSP apple cider vinegar 
1/2 tsp No Salt
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
5-10 drops liquid stevia
Fill rest of jar with sparkling water

Friday: Glendale with my Honey A visit to Griffith Observatory—the  Water show is wonderful.

Saturday: Reconnected Day--Thanks and love to Loretta1031 and Dani

Sunday: the boogie board and sushi and the Silly String Battle and the Poppers

Sushi at SeaButter: a fine low-carb menu and some complimentary ceviche





We all got dosed with the string and the poppers turned into a hilarious struggle.
All of this was centered in my birthday pavilion, of course.
