We now know that our group knitting pattern and project is going probably to relate to making the lovely across-the -body-bags that Carmen makes. This gives everyone a chance to learn to make the ever-functional Granny Square to use up extra yarn in a fantastic and usable way. Stay tuned for details!
Woobling: size 4.0 mm/g hook and worsted weight (4) yarn. Basic penguin or the basic chick pattern (free)

Crochet block experiments:

Sewed (by machine) the zipper to the liner! Pinned liner into place, ready for hand sewing.

Lakeside cardigan : sewed back onto arms, after weaving in all the ends! Remaining: 2 sets of front panels, each is 2x2, weaving those ends, attaching, then major remaining seams.

Vestuary24: finished the back! Working up the front.

Dizzy Blondes: 

Still working on more merino from
3rd bobbin (sigh), but no progress

Strategy:  slow is better than couch

AW shoot!: cycling along at 40 mins/day on my bike/desk ("FitDesk"). About 4 miles per day.

Keto Ice Cream Experiment

1. Blender frantically: 
1 c cottage cheese
Handful blueberries OR 
2 tbsp Sugar-free syrup for coffee drinks
Heavy cream to thin (optional)

2. Freeze overnight
3. Thaw several hours in fridge.


Jury duty calls! Now in late June. But the wooden crochet hooks HAVE arrived.

Weight loss and fasting: Down  24 pounds. Off the plateau! Testing glucose and ketosis—REALLY good! But building muscle.
