Hi Gemma I was listening to the car radio the other day and thought you would love this. It’s on BBC Sounds, Friday 3rd March, Radio 4, Today programme (6am) at 2.55 in the broadcast, right before the end. It was examples of phrases that have no English equivalent. Made me laugh and nod sagely, but not both at the same time. Knowing your love of language I thought it might give you a wry smile. Get better soon. So sorry youve been sick. Much love, Sally x
