I listened to your podcast for the first time & really enjoyed it, thanks!
I knit & also have done water bath canning & loved hearing about it. Once in a while I'll find coupons for Ball items in the Sunday paper, you can keep an eye out for those. Also, you can buy Ball lids - for when you open the jars, you can use these white lids to replace the rings & tops.
I didn't know what to expect and laughed when I heard you talking about Dale Carnegie classes -- I took those 20+ years ago & those are good lessons to remember!
