Really love your podcast, glad you are back! I also can & preserve fruits & veggies. I would like to recommend two items to you: 1. The book "Summer in a Jar" by Andrea Chesman- Williamson Press. Lots of great recipes, especially because she has recipes for single quarts & pints. I love the Ball Blue book, but the quantities tend to be very large. 2. Steam canners!!!! Uses a fraction of the water in a boiling water bath. Cooking time is exactly the same as the boiling water bath. I got mine from a local farm store. My neighbor, who also cans got hers on-line.
Once you use it, you will never look back!
Started my first Daybreak shawl yesterday on your recommendation.
Take care and keep podcasting!

(If this is a duplicate mess, please ignore it)enjoy your podcast very much. I am also a canner. I two recommedations for you: . The book "Summer in a Jar" by Andrea Chesman. Low sugar receipes and receipes for one quart & 1 pint jats. I love the Ball Blue book, but the receipes are huge! 2. Steam Canners!!!!! Use less than half the water for a boiling water bath and it uses the exact same cooking time as a boiling water bath. You will never go back to your old cooker!!! I found mine at a local farm co-op, but my neighbor found hers on-line.
Started my first Daybreak shawl yesterday and am enjoying it! Happy canning!
