TurboGal: "I so agree that our pets see us more than we often recognize. Like you, I see our cats mimicking us. When I sit or lie on the floor to do exercises, one of our cats invariably comes by and also lies on the floor and stretches with me!" Also, that was the kindest posting about Minnesota! I think we’re glued here for two more years while my kid does community college before we can actually relocate. I am not at all surprised you’ve got a vibrant knitting community up there. We have a fairly lively crochet group here, but our knitting groups are now just…turgid. Crochet is much more in Vogue in this region.

Astraeus sweater: Lisa Souza superwash hand-dyed merino in St Louis Blues and Malabrigo Rios in Sunset.

Mending March or Making It March. Or Women’s History Month
Blue Iris Blueberry Waffle Socks: forward momentum. On the foot of #1.
Virgo sweater: we’ve divided for sleeves! Working down the body. About halfway down.
Doing the sides, all the blocks are joined. Done up the side panels. Thinking of the liner, digging out an old flannel sheet.
Lakeside cardigan : Remaining: 1 set of front on panels, each is 2x2, weaving those ends, attaching, then major remaining seams.
September Sweater: It's crocheted and has been on my Rav projects page for months. 225 to 150 chain. I’m just plodding along on the second large panel that makes up the body.
Quilt squares and organizing—none this week—we are at 69 finished so far. 10 more in the early stages.
Dizzy Blondes: spinning the second 4 oz braid of “blackbewwie shadow” from Lisa Souza.
Able to spin again beginning on Friday the 21st!

Strategy: use your spring energy: clean, refresh, exercise. Stop telling yourself you’re only doing it because the weather is getting warmer – – do it because it feels good!

Dizzy Blondes: temporary halt, due to sinus mess, but spinning the second 4 oz braid of “blackbewwie shadow” from Lisa Souza.
The latest fiber ordered is here! It came with about an ounce of a beautiful cashmere dyed in a dark, reddish berry color. Apparently, this was because Lisa felt that she fulled a little bit of the fiber that I had ordered. Of course, all of it looks perfectly able to be spun easily to me, but it tells you about the quality of Lisa’s work and how conscientious she is.

Amystorm: “ I’d add to the info on freezing your credit, please do this for your children, too. You don’t want them to get to the age where they are getting jobs, applying for credit, trying to rent an apartment, only to find there was unknown fraud happening during their childhood. Unfortunately the freezing process for minors is not as easy as for adults. For kids you have to do it by mail and send in copies of birth certificates, SS card, your own drivers license, etc. and the requirements are slightly different for each credit bureau. One had a form you downloaded and filled out and included with the other documents to mail in, one required you submit a written request. Anyway, it was a pain and took a decent amount of time but the peace of mind having it done has been worth it.”
