Episode 41
Yee-ha! New corriedale cross fiber and a skein of Nefarious sock yarn ("Jim Jones") from Cosmic Fibers. Great stuff! Go raid the etsy shop! Link below.
What's On My Hook/Needles: Nearly done the knitted cowl, not much on anything else--still knitting- monogamous. I'm still spinning fiber from Dyeing for Colour and the fabulous Lisa Souza Batt "Elektra". The lazy kate from SpinSanity is my new yarn-processing best pal.
A Strategy: Anger 101--Triggers and containment.
Something I Really Like: The "Golden Moments" at dawn and sunset.
Blather: DharmaFey of Socks In the City and Cosmic Fibers, and Bellatrix between them save me after a harrowing event.

The New Donations Button
So I added a Paypal button for donations at the top right of this page.
Let me tell you, I feel really weird about this. But I would rather I had a stable place to put offered donations than in my pocket, as I did last week. (grin--thanks, Nathan!)
This is not a threat or a demand. The podcast costs $10 per month so far! I am already able to finance 2.5 months from the store and another half month from Nathan and have an offer for another month from The Knitmores (yes, I love you both.).
So we are paid up for quite a while already!
For now, if you donate $10, I'll make and mail you a distaff. As soon as enough money accumulates, I will look at other freebies from the store.
I am also looking at purchasing web storage to maintain an archive of previous episodes.
You all are making it possible. But, if all else fails, hey, I can still manage $10/month for Libsyn! So no pressure!

Episode 40 is Live!
Look! New Drop Spindles! MaineWoodsYarns on left and Yorkieslave's on the right. They're in a nest of fiber from YorkieSlave.
A new podcast! Knitlark Lane--another great podcast reading great literature to us!
What's On My Hook/Needles: Nearly done the knitted cowl, not much on anything else--I've gone monogamous. I'm spinning fiber from Dyeing for Colour on a lovely new spindle from Yorkie Slave. I'm also ripping my way through felted green fiber from who-knows-where on a spindle that really belongs to Lexicom from Maine Woods Yarns--a GREAT spindle. And still working at the fabulous Lisa Souza Batt "Elektra".
A Strategy: Anger 101--anger v. sadness and disappointment, and a bit about triggers.
Something I Really Like: Chocolate Shakes from McDonalds--and apologies up-front for singing again .
Blather: Some drama back on Level 2 and more about life on 4.

Episode 39 is Live!
That's a distaff for drop spindlers in the picture, in case you are wondering.
What's On My Hook/Needles: I've turned my attention to the knitted cowl once more, but the paca-peds socks are done and wonderful! I'm spinning Lisa Souza fiber and fiber from Dyeing for Colour. I've ordered spindles from Maine Woods Yarns and from Yorkie Slave. I received my lazy kate for drop spindlers from Spinsanity, and it's wonderful!
A Strategy: the research on prayer
Something I Really Like: the movie Kung Fu Panda.
Blather: Bits and pieces and farewell to Black.

Libsyn has screwed up my account!
They are saying that I have already used up half of this month's account--but I have not even posted anyhting since the account renewed on the 6th of April!
So no new episodes until I can work this out with them.
Sorry, everyone. Hang in there--I am sure we will get this fixed in a day or two. I will edit episodes to post asap in the meantime.
