Warm Thanks :
CrochetGirl528: Welcome! Yes! We do indeed plan to have a retreat in 2025.
2y1xMom--Here is the source for the ESC from the Knitting Tree LA's owner/designer. And I cannot wait to see your ESC!
SalPal: Sorry not sorry on that earworm from The Music Man. Dear heavens don't focus on my shownotes while driving!
Karen RS: thank you for loving on my Moomin hat!
Chrisaah: if you’re interested in not supporting Amazon you could try buying secondhand Kindles on Ebay. My current kindle is secondhand. People often just buy the new version out of habit and sell their old one even though it’s still fine. I’m very much into secondhand stuff, it’s so much better for the environment to not buy new.”
Sagepecas: thank you so much for letting me hear your voice! I am so sorry because it sounds like you’ve been going through a lot lately. I think you’ve been very gracious to post and let us know some of the stuff that’s going on and I cannot help but tell you how much I appreciate that you’re finding the strategies I present useful. I am delighted to have you as a listener and I send big warm hugs.

What's On My Hooks and Needles:

Finished:  Nope.

In Progress:

Stash toss 2025 (43 in, 18 out): counting the ordered Louisa Harding Provence and Libra (Rios)

Novice Slipover in Malabrigo Rios Water Green: working across the neck and shoulders areas, and now down the upper front

Blue Iris Blueberry Waffle Socks: forward momentum. Finished#1. Done the ribbing of #2 and midway down the leg. It's my travel knitting.

Virgo sweater: onto the sleeves! Well...maybe next week.

Doing the sides, all the blocks are joined. Done up the side panels. Thinking of the liner, digging out an old flannel sheet.

Lakeside cardigan : Remaining: 1 set of front on panels, each is 2x2, weaving those ends, attaching, then major remaining seams.

September Sweater: It's crocheted and has been on my Rav projects page for months. 225 to 150 chain. I’m just plodding along on the second large panel that makes up the body.

Quilt squares and organizing—none this week—we are at 69 finished so far. 10 more in the early stages.

Dizzy Blondes: “blackbewwie shadow” from Lisa Souza plied with the camel hair/silk! Heading for a Sophie scarf and also a hat. No real progress here.

Using the electric eel 6.1.

Strategy: Slow and steady wins the race.
Finch app ID is XRVW2WQW3C. Welcome to Monika and Birb!

GreenFingers: Project Spearmint: we ordered creeping thyme and Texas Salvia as ground covers for here and elsewhere from High Country Gardens online, but it's been too cold and windy to plant. Beloved got enthusiastic and weeded the entire driveway side for the salvia though!

Chrisaah: YES! Read The Black Moth!
ReadKnitSnark: Another Finch buddy! YESSSS!!!! Good work on forming that habit!
2y1x Mom:"I am currently using the Kobo Libra Color and the Kindle Color Soft. The Kobo Libra Color has buttons (which I love) and a stylus. However, I am too entrenched in the Kindle universe to make a complete change. I will say that I downloaded most of my kindle books and the process through Calibre is very simple to place on the Kobo. The Kobo store is not as impressive as Amazon and doesn’t have all the Amazon deals. To be honest, Kobo is just another electronic bookstore. I am still leasing books. It is kind of like switching from light brown eggs to dark brown eggs. Unfortunately, Amazon is still the best platform to get the items we need. Stores in our county just don’t keep any stock, especially electronics."
Storie and MonikaHolmberg: Both spoke up to help me identify the Moomin on my new cap as SnorkMaiden. It's the fringe! And, Monika, yes, Nathaniel the Hawthorne was a frequent feature on my vid journals during the Quarantine.
DCAlaneKnits: "This was too funny.

On like Monday, I forwarded the news clip from CBS and the Knitting Tree store to Dr Gemma and suggested it for her next field trip. And she has just returned. I will look for the clip. I had recently gotten the pattern for the “chickie” to make for a local organization (possible replacement for a couple of organizations I knit with). Made with aran weight it is supposed to end up about 6”. I’ve been making it for Easter gifts with sock yarn held double. Really cute!"
