Episode 112: January moods

Comments are welcomed! Either comment here or go to our group on Ravelry.

I have a YouTube channel "Doctor Gemma". Flash tips (1 minute or less) around surviving the pandemic and longer strategy discussions.

Buy Dr Gemma a Ko-Fi, if you're enjoying the podcast and feeling up to it. Remember that I am still working, though, so feel free to give the money to a charity instead.

I will NOT add you to any of my follower groups currently, due to robo-accounts. Please follow me here. You can contact me through our group on Ravelry or on this blog.

Warm Thanks :

What's On My Hooks and Needles:

Finished:

My Romjul 22 sweater.

Another example of why knitters should also crochet.

In Progress:

Lanesplitter Skirt- I’ve turned the first corner and I’m on the straight-away--32 inches along!

Don't Know Yet--a year in blocks-- onward! Seaming experiment — 5 bottom rows are seamed, joined, and ends are woven in. Seaming onward!

19 x 19 blocks! Romjul planning to seam.
18(19) squares=361 squares. And extras

Arranged, photographed, and clipped.

Wrapped in Tiny Chains crocheted cardigan- back is done. Use measurements, not gauge. On to the second front panel! Stalled for ASL class

Lady Eleanor Shawl-- The Next Big Thing. Progress in middle of skein 7/11. 32” long so far.

Hat plans

Put a Lid on It:
Tea tastings: gemmatastestea on IG continue. But I keep losing access to the account.
Tea fails: Harney & Sons chocolate and chocolate chai

Hot Artichoke Dip (can be keto)
1 can artichoke hearts
1 cup keto mayo
1 cup grated Parmesan

I used avocado oil mayo, marinated ‘choke hearts, and TJ’s exceptional cheddar

Preheat oven to 350F. (177C) Chop chokes into bowl. Add other ingredients. Spread thinly in 9”x13” baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy with just about anything dipped in it, hot.

Blather:
