I have a YouTube channel "Doctor Gemma". Flash tips (1 minute or less) around surviving the pandemic and longer strategy discussions.

Buy Dr Gemma a Ko-Fi, if you're enjoying the podcast and feeling up to it. Remember that I am still working, thoughhttps://twiceshearedsheep.com, so feel free to give the money to a charity instead.

There will NOT be a CFR (Cogknitive Fiber Retreat) this year.

I will NOT add you to any of my follower groups currently, due to robo-accounts. Please follow me here. You can contact me through our group on Ravelry or on this blog.

What's On My Hooks and Needles:

Finished:

Nope.

In Progress:

Jury Duty Shawl—but I didn’t have to report! And I am looking for a good set of wooden hooks.

Really Pretty Socks—sock #1: Finished—even the heel!

Wild Lettuce Shawl: on the knitted on lace edging, but not yet at the midpoint. I worked on it yesterday!
Twinface’s vest (restarted in smaller size) On its way home to me. Still.
Temperature Blanket—caught up and I was able to get more rouge! Halfway there!

Put a Lid On It:

Masala Chai:

In a pan on the stove or for 1 minute on high in your Instant Pot:

3 tea bags (I like Twinings Earl Grey)
2 cups water
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tsp Swerve
2 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks (about 3 inches long minimum)
1 Tbsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
4 green cardamom pods (Penseys is a good source)

I just warm this on the stove and let it get just to boiling and then turn it off and allow to steep. Strain the results into a BIG mug!
