What's On My Hooks, Needles, and Spindles:
Not yet finished:
The OHM Shawl by Michelle Miller .
On to the second color!
Margaret Dashwood Shawl--15 repeats done, but set aside for bears...
Whacky Socks
Stalled
One Row Lace Scarf...set aside for the nonce...
2 more bears have been freed from the ZomBear curse! Here are Christine and Sandy Bear!
Bears for the Mother Bear Project--my 13 bears in 2013 project continues. I am back on this project, as the 2 Knit Lit Chicks are still running their CAL/KAL!
Dizzy Blondes:
Loretta and her fantastic Kiwi wheel:
The finished BFL-silk from Dreamy Goat Designs.
A Happy Outcome from having a skeiner and being able to skein up and count your yarn more quickly.
And here's what you get from being able to load little cheap bobbins and free up your wheel's bobbins. I used a drill and the dowel from my Lazy Kate.
The first 4 ounces of Shetland wool from RenCon Ranch.
Freckle Face Fiber SWM in California Poppies.
The last braid of Judy's Novelty Wool Corriedale from Stitches West several years ago.
Strategy:
Set yourself free from wanting a past that will never be.
21 -Day Meditation Challenge
Oh No! The ZomBears have overpowered their watchdog! Poor Eleanor!
Put a Lid On It:
Hot kitchen, no goodies.
Aw Shoot!
Not this week, alas! Spinning with Loretta instead.
The Zombears did leave a slimy trail, so we cornered them in my studio...
Something I Really Like:
Star Trek: Enterprise on Netflix. All the goofy Star Trek stuff you love, plus a great theme song and some true-to-Roddenberry themes.
Blather:
The Gathering Leaves Crocheted Shawl by Lily Go. Thanks, Nitiram!
The practice of no escape!
The Mobile Recording Studio gets an overhaul.
Our outdoor bedroom for the summer months.
Oh NO! They're eating brains in my studio!

Dizzy Blondes:
I will be getting a skeiner and yarn counter from WoodenSpinner on Etsy! It arrives this Monday!
AHHHH! The Zombears are trying to make more of their evil, twisted kind...!
Strategy: Don't be a....D*c or dork or whatever. A brief discussion of how we use sex- and gender-related words as insults. But don't use your power and authority to belittle or attack the actions of others who are trying to do good. Will Wheaton's 11th commandment.
Geeks Girls: Nothing to Prove--an amazing music video!
21 -Day Meditation Challenge
I finally rounded the Zombears up and caged them. They immediately began to try to escape...
Put a Lid On It:
Hot kitchen, no goodies.
I rescued 2 of the Zombears by giving them faces, and they immediately became peaceful happy bears again...
Aw Shoot!
Not this week, alas! Range closed for extreme heat.
Something I Really Like:
Popular Wheel Mechanics DVD
Blather:
Dawgs. Lotsa big dawgs.
The remaining ZomBears are under the watchful eye of Blankets, my GSD, but they continue to try to wreak havoc and to escape.
BEWARE THE ZOMBEARS!

What's On My Hooks, Needles, and Spindles:
Not yet finished:
The OHM Shawl by Michelle Miller .
On to the second color!
Margaret Dashwood Shawl--easy and fun in worsted weight:
Whacky Socks
Stalled
One Row Lace Scarf...It goes like this:
K4 [YO, K2Tog, K2] to your preferred width. Go up 3 needle sizes from the standard size for your yarn weight, so I am using a US 5 for lace weight yarn. This has been posted on Ravelry by several different designers; one even tries to charge $3 for it!
Bears for the Mother Bear Project--my 13 bears in 2013 project continues with Bears 30-33. I am back on this project, as the 2 Knit Lit Chicks are still running their CAL/KAL!
Dizzy Blondes:
I am finished with the Tour de Fleece goals!
1. Rashida the alpaca has been spun and plied and finished.
2. The CFR2012 colorway from Desert Vista Dyeworks is all spun up!
3. The bumps attacked by Blankets are spun and plied or waiting for plying:
4. The cinnamon brown alpaca from last year is spun and plied!
I will be getting a skeiner and yarn counter from WoodenSpinner on Etsy! It arrives this Monday!
Strategy:
Be a good winner. When you get what you want, you've won. Don't keep on pursuing the person you've had a victory over. Don't kick a person when they are down.
Put a Lid On It:
It's time to make cucumber pickles. And watermelon rind pickles. And melon pickles.
Aw Shoot!
Not this week, alas!
Something I Really Like:
The Gentle Art of Plying DVD
Blather:

Whacky Socks
I'm so confused....
One Row Lace Scarf...It goes like this:

And I am finishing the singles started from a cinnamon alpaca whose fleece I was selling at CFR2012:

Strategy:
Keep the larger perspective as you watch someone you love making mistakes. They really probably will figure it out and do the right thing, if you give them time.
