What's On My Hooks, Needles, and Spindles:
Not yet finished:
The OHM Shawl by Michelle Miller

I have now done 5 repeats of the C chart!

Whacky Socks

Just plain ole vanilla socks from some Regia in DK weight that I had hanging around.I'm running out of yarn midway down the instep~! OHHHH NOOO!

Blocked:
The Boneyard Shawl --and it came out to EXACTLY the larger size that I wanted!

Still in Progress:

Bears for the Mother Bear Project--my 13 bears in 2013 project continues with Bears 30-32.

Dizzy Blondes:
I continue spinning the 12 oz of the fiber dyed for the last CFR by Desert Vista Dyeworks....and will probably finish it and ply the alpaca from my own Rashida for Tour de Fleece.

Tour de Fleece starts on June 29th! Oil your wheels and dust your srop spindles!

Strategy:
Select your groceries from the outside aisles in an American supermarket, if you want to avoid the bad additives and processed foods.

Put a Lid On It:
It's getting too hot around ehre, so the kitchen is quiet this week.

Something I Really Like:

Merlin--the now-defunct TV series, available in all 5 glorious seasons on Netflix.

And some great tellings of the tales of Arthur and his knights and his magicians:
The Once and Future King by TH White
Lancelot by Walker Percy
The Idylls of the King by Alfred, Lord Tennyson
The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart
The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
Le Morte Darthur by Sir Thomas Mallory

Teddy was ready for our coming home party for my boys!

Blather:

CFR news, as always.

A welcome home party, crates for everyone, and the usual pleasures of early summer here on the farm!
