Potchke’s Tunisian workshop—G hooks available from Oink at the retreat!
From our loyal teacher: “ I find size G (4 mm) in an unadorned style, to be perfect for Tunisian in fingering weight. “Unadorned” in this case means no ergonomic grip.
Personally, I prefer the Susan Bates style hook, with the in-line (non-bulbous) head.” And: “Bring your own fingering weight yarn (self-striping or variegated is a plus) and bring a size G non-ergonomic hook or you may buy one at the Oink Pigments stand”
We now know that our group knitting pattern and project is going probably to relate to making the lovely across-the -body-bags that Carmen makes. This gives everyone a chance to learn to make the ever-functional Granny Square to use up extra yarn in a fantastic and usable way. Stay tuned for details!
